Championship Game Predictions

Ladies and gentleman I welcome you to championship weekend.  For three years in a row now we have seen the Patriots and 49ers in the league championship game.  Both teams are currently 1-1 and both teams definitely do not want to end up 1-2 after Sunday.  By the way, this has to be my favorite AFC Championship memory:

Rematch.  And I thought the regular season match-up between these two teams was the best game of the year.  This HAS to be the best game of the year.  You know this one is going to be close.  One of these two quarterbacks is going to make or break their career with a game winning drive in the fourth quarter.  That’s just how these kind of games work out.

Both Brady and Manning have lost Super Bowls in the past five years and are looking to take the lead in the whole “Brady versus Manning” saga.  When all is said and done, this game is going to be one of if not THE most important in that debate.  Which quarterback rebounds better from a Super Bowl loss.  We shall find out.  You gotta know I am taking Brady and the Patriots.

With all that traveling the 49ers have been doing there is no doubt those players are pretty tired.  A freezing win in Green Bay followed by a dismantling of the Carolina Head Fake Panthers.  That being said, something about this 49ers playoff run has me believing they will be playing in the Super Bowl for a second year in a row.  All that traveling really brings a team together and elevates the chemistry.  I like to see Pete Carroll disappointed so I’m taking the 49ers.
